EZZE PIPE is a utility program for doing hydraulic calculations used in the design of water
and chemical process piping systems. The calculation of flow rate through pipe is
complicated in that the flow rate depends on the friction coefficient and there are several
friction formulas available.

EZZE PIPE uses the two most widely accepted methods to calculate pressure drop.

The first method is the Darcy-Weisbach equation which is considered to be the most
accurate method due to its direct relationships to pipe diameter, material plus condition
and Reynolds number. It calculates the pressure drop for 1 of 18 different pipe
conditions plus shows in your report the friction factors calculated for all 18. This
provides additional information to assist you in designing your system.

The second method is the Hazen-Willliams  equation which is most commonly used for
water distribution systems (municipal, irrigation and fire protection). The program in
addition to calculating pressure drop for your system and has a second pressure
drop/flow rate calculator to do ‘what if’ calculations independent of the original
calculations.

In addition there is a modular sketching utility which enables you to draft and layout your
system(SAMPLE SHOWN ABOVE).
